SAN FRANCISCO — The judge presiding over the coordinated California DePuy ASR hip implant proceedings has denied DePuy Orthopaedics Inc.’s motion to dismiss a Connecticut plaintiff’s ASR case for forum non conveniens. Darling v. DePuy Orthopaedics Inc., No. BC 471 909 [DePuy AR Hip System Cases, JCCP No. 4649] (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer issued the order June 14 without elaborating.
