Parties to Calif. DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant Case Agree to State Court Remand

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge has signed a stipulation and order remanding an ASR hip implant case to California Superior Court, after DePuy submitted a notice of non-opposition. Toman, et ux. v. DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., et al., No. 11-cv-04747 (N.D. Calif.).

Judge William Alsup signed the order on Oct. 18, remanding the action to the San Francisco Superior Court where it is expected to be added to similar California cases in coordinated ASR or Pinnacle implant proceedings (In re DePuy ASR Hip System Cases, No. CJC-10-004649).
