CHICAGO - The federal judge overseeing the newly formed Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant MDL docket has approved plaintiffs' proposals for lead counsel and members of a Plaintiffs' Steering Committee despite opposition by defendants, who called the proposed leadership group too large and "inefficient." In re: Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant Products Liability Litigation, Master Case No. 1:11-cv-5468 [MDL No. 2272] (N.D. Ill.).
