MILWAUKEE - A Wisconsin man has sued Zimmer Inc. in federal court, seeking damages for the expected replacement of a Durom Cup hip implant he says is defective. Grossman, et al. v. Zimmer Holdings, Inc., et al., No. 2:11-cv-00686-CNC (E.D. Wis.).
Barry L. Grossman sued Zimmer Inc. and Zimmer Holdings Inc. on July 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, seeking damages on behalf of himself and his wife, Gail Lione, and on behalf of "involuntary plaintiffs" Foley & Lardner LLP Group Health Insurance Plan and Foley & Lardner LLP Group Disability Insurance Plan.
