TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey appellate court has upheld a verdict in favor of the makers of Children's Motrin, ruling that the evidence supported the jury's finding that the drug did not cause a child to contract toxic epidermal necrolysis. Zundel v. Johnson & Johnson, No. A-3984-08T1 (N.J. Super. Ct., App. Div.).
On Aug. 5, the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, found that there was ample evidence in the record undermining the credibility of a key witness.
