Plaintiff and Defense Liaison Counsel Named in Calif. ASR Hip Cases

SAN FRANCISCO - The judge overseeing California's coordinated DePuy ASR Hip System cases has designated San Francisco lawyer Michael Kelly as Plaintiffs' Liaison Counsel, with authority to coordinate the California plaintiffs' interests with the court, defense counsel, the federal MDL, and his counterpart in New Jersey, which has also consolidated DePuy ASR lawsuits. In re DePuy ASR Hip System Cases, No. JCCP 4649 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).

That appointment, and others, came on July 28 in San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard A. Kramer's first case management order in the consolidated DePuy ASR cases.
