NEWARK, N.J. - A New Jersey health and benefits fund has filed a lawsuit on behalf of itself and all other parties who paid for members' DePuy Pinnacle hip implants and who now have to cover the cost of further treatment and revision surgeries because of their failure. The North Jersey Municipal Employee Benefits Funds v. DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., et al., No. 3:11-cv-03412 (D. N.J.).

The lawsuit filed by the North Jersey Municipal Employee Benefits Funds on June 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New Jersey was included in a July 21 list of cases …
