Judicial Panel Assigns DePuy Pinnacle MDL to Northern District of Texas

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has assigned all DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant case to Judge James E. Kinkeade in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas for all pretrial proceedings. In re: DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., Pinnacle Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2244 (N.D. Texas).

The Judicial Panel released its order on May 23, noting that it has been notified of 54 cases in addition to the three listed for immediate transfer.
