MOBILE, Ala. - An Alabama federal judge has granted a generic drug manufacturer summary judgment on claims that it failed to warn physicians that its generic antibiotic could cause Steven-Johnson Syndrome, ruling that the plaintiff failed to show that her doctor would not have prescribed the drug had a different warning been given. Barnhill v. Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., No. 06-282 (S.D. Ala.).
