ST. LOUIS - A Missouri federal judge has refused to reconsider the denial of a drug maker's motion for summary judgment in a Zometa injury case, ruling that the multidistrict litigation court already sufficiently analyzed the issues raised in the motion. Brodie v. Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., No. 10-138 (E.D. Mo.).

Judge Henry E. Autrey of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri ruled April 25 that Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. failed to satisfy any of the grounds for reconsideration outlined in Rule 60(b) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
