Judge Allows Plaintiffs to Amend Complaint in Surgical Mesh Device Case

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A California federal judge has ordered the plaintiffs in a transvaginal surgical mesh device case to amend their complaint to state where each plaintiff underwent her respective procedure and to explain whether the claims are based on one defective device or on multiple mesh devices that share a common defect. Coleman, et al., v. Boston Scientific Corp., No. 10-1968 (E.D. Calif.).
