TAMPA, Fla. - A Florida federal judge has dismissed a Carticel injury suit without prejudice, ruling that the plaintiff failed to establish a connection between Genzyme Corp.'s alleged failure to train physicians in the use of the product and the alleged injury. Rounds v. Genzyme Corp., No. 10-2479 (M.D. Fla.).
On Dec. 20, Judge Steven D. Merryday of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida ruled that the plaintiff must amend her complaint by Jan. 3.
