TRENTON, N.J. - Counsel for DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. and its parent company, Johnson & Johnson, seek consolidation of all New Jersey DePuy ASR Hip Implant Litigation cases as a mass tort for centralized management before Judge Jessica R. Mayer in the Middlesex County Superior Court.
The Dec. 2 application, pending before Acting Administrative Director of the Courts Judge Glenn A. Grant, states that 42 state court cases have been filed against DePuy and J&J, including three in New Jersey.
