Supplement Company Enters Into Consent Decree to Stop Making Ephedra Product

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorneys for Biogenics Inc. and E'OLA International signed a consent decree April 12 to cease the distribution and manufacture of Amp II Pro Drops and other products after it was discovered the supplements contained ephedrine hydrochloride. United States v. E'OLA International, 01cv820c (D. Utah).

The decree, signed by Utah State District Judge Tena Campbell, prohibits the company from distributing any products with ephedrine hydrochloride or any synthetic ephedrine alkaloids.
