CHICAGO - An Illinois woman has sued the manufacturer of a knee replacement device, alleging that the device is unsafe and defective and has caused her personal injuries, pain and suffering. Channon v. Smith & Nephew Inc., No. 10-06963 (N.D. Ill.).
The complaint, filed against Smith & Nephew Inc., was originally filed in the Cook County (Ill.) Circuit Court and removed to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Oct. 29.
