TAMPA, Fla. - In a new complaint filed in Florida federal court, a woman claims that she sustained permanent injuries caused by a defective transobturator sling manufactured by Mentor Corp. Jacobs, et ux., v. Mentor Corp., No. 10-02429 (M.D. Fla.).
The Oct. 29 suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, says the medical device is unreasonably dangerous and came with insufficient warnings.
