Judgment in Favor of Drug Makers Upheld in Children's Motrin Case

LOS ANGELES - A California state appeals court has affirmed a judgment in favor of drug makers in a Children's Motrin injury case, ruling that the trial court did not err in excluding an exhibit proffered by a plaintiff's expert. Johnson v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. B211123 (Calif. App. Ct., 2nd Dist.).
On Oct. 20, the California Court of Appeal, 2nd District, affirmed that the exhibit did not add anything to the expert's testimony and that exclusion of the exhibit would not have affected the jury's causation determination.
