BAY CITY, Mich. — A federal judge has denied a motion to transfer and consolidate two hip implant cases pending in different divisions within the same district, saying they are not “companion cases” because they involve different plaintiffs, different products and different facts. Jones, et al. v. Wright Medical Technology, No. 11-14432 (E.D. Mich., N. Div.).
