TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey federal judge has transferred to California federal court a wrongful death suit involving Remicade, Humira and Purinethol, ruling that California is the most convenient forum for the parties and witnesses. Wendell, et al., v. Johnson & Johnson, et al., No. 09-3273 (D. N.J.).
On Oct. 13, Judge Joel A. Pisano further ruled that public factors also weigh in favor of transfer because it would not be cost-effective to allow two very similar cases to proceed in two different district courts.
