BOSTON — The New England Journal of Medicine has published a critique of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s current metal-on-metal hip implant surveillance in its June 20 issue, along with recommendations for consideration at the June 27 and 28 public meeting of Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Devices Panel of the Medical Devices Advisory Committee in Washington, D.C.
