Article: "Severe Hepatotoxicity Associated with the Dietary Supplement Lipokinetix"

Summary: A case series study of seven patients who developed acute hepatitis within three months of starting Lipokinetix. Three of the subjects, including one who developed hepatic fulminant liver failure complicated by cerebral edema, were not taking any other drug or supplement at the time of their injury. All patients recovered after taking the supplement, including those taking supplements other than Lipokinetix when they suffered their symptoms.
