SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - An Illinois federal judge has denied GlaxoSmithKline's motion for summary judgment on claims of negligence, strict liability and fraud in a Paxil wrongful death case, ruling that the drug maker is not shielded from liability under the learned intermediary doctrine. Mason, et ux. v. Smithkline Beecham Corp. d/b/a GlaxoSmithKline, No. 05-1252 (C.D. Ill.).
