JACKSON, Miss. - The Mississippi Supreme Court has reversed a ruling that granted summary judgment to two doctors and two pharmaceutical companies accused of failing to adequately warn of the alleged link between homicidal tendencies and Prozac and other antidepressants. Bennett v. Eli Lilly, et al., No. 1999-CA-00266-SCT (Miss. Sup.).
In a decision released March 21, the state's high court reversed and remanded to Hinds County Circuit court a case involving alleged products and physician liability stemming from the death of a woman who was stabbed some 200 times by her husband.
