SAN FRANCISCO - A California federal judge has denied GlaxoSmithKline's motion for summary judgment on Paxil suicide claims, ruling that a jury should decide whether the drug's warnings of suicidal thoughts were adequate. Hornisher, et ux. v. GlaxoSmithKline, No. C-09-1453 (N.D. Calif.).

On May 14, Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California further ruled that the issue of causation cannot be addressed at this stage of the litigation.
