CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A North Carolina federal judge has granted two name-brand drug makers final judgment on generic Reglan claims, ruling that since the dismissed claims are separable from the claims against the remaining generic drug maker defendant, the judgment is final. Couick v. Wyeth Inc., No. 09-210 (W.D. N.C.).
The May 6 order by Chief Judge Robert J. Conrad of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina was issued in the wake of the court's grant of summary judgment to Wyeth Inc. and Schwarz Pharma Inc.
