TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey federal judge has allowed claims for breach of implied warranty and unfair and deceptive trade practices to proceed against the manufacturers of certain baby care products that are alleged to have contained toxic and cancerous chemicals. Crouch v. Johnson & Johnson, No. 09-2905 (D. N.J.).
On April 15, Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled that the claims were adequately pled under Kentucky law.
