TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey appellate court has remanded the issue of whether doctor who has studied the effect that Accutane has on the brain can offer testimony on the link between the acne drug and suicide. Palazzolo v. Hoffman La Roche Inc., No. 363834 (N.J. Super., App. Div.)
On Feb. 3, the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, ruled that the trial court should determine whether Dr. James Bremner can offer an opinion without relying upon a positron emission tomography study.
