Judge Orders Plaintiffs to Identify Manufacturer in Reglan Action

BATON ROUGE, La. - In a Reglan injury case, a Louisiana federal magistrate judge has ordered plaintiffs to amend their complaint to specify that Teva Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactured the drug that allegedly caused the plaintiff to develop tradive dyskinesia. Morris v. Wyeth Inc., et al., No. 09-00854 (W. D. La.).
On Nov. 3, U.S. Magistrate Judge Karen L. Hayes granted Teva's motion for a more definite statement, finding that the complaint failed to specifically allege which drug maker defendants manufactured the Reglan that was ingested by the plaintiff.
