California Court Severs, Stays Non-Resident Claims Against Biomet

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco Superior Court Judge Harold E. Kahn has stayed claims by out-of-state plaintiffs against hip implant maker Biomet Inc. pending determinations as to whether they can re-file in their home states. Jacobs, et al. v. Biomet, Inc., et al., No. CGC-12-518482 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
