GREENSBORO, N.C.-A lawsuit has been filed in North Carolina Superior Court by a woman who claims the manufacturer of Lipokinetix failed to provide adequate warnings concerning potential adverse events related to the weight-loss supplement, which she alleges caused her to develop hepatitis. Nunn v. Syntrax Innovations Inc. et al., No. n/a (N.C. Sup. Ct. Guilford Cty.)
Stacey Nunn claims she discovered the alleged connection when she stopped using the product after suffering from fatigue, weakness and jaundice. She was diagnosed with hepatitis in June 2001, and resumed taking Lipokinetix when she began to feel better. Her symptoms returned shortly after …
