TRENTON - A New Jersey appellate court affirmed denial of class certification to a group of plaintiffs claiming that Carter-Reed and others fraudulently marketed the weight loss supplement Relacore. Lee v. Carter-Reed Co., No. A-4598-07T1 (N.J. Super. Ct., App. Div.).
On Aug. 14, the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, ruled that the issues of fact underlying the members' claims are too individualized, rendering the class unmanageable.
