CLEVELAND - A federal judge has granted Johnson & Johnson summary judgment on claims that it failed to adequately warn of blood clots associated with its birth control patch, Ortho Evra. Santana-Guillen v. Johnson & Johnson, No. 3:07-40157 (N.D. Ohio).
On June 3, Judge David Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, ruled that plaintiffs failed to prove that Santana Rosa's alleged injuries were caused by the contraceptive patch.
