BOSTON - A Massachusetts federal judge on May 13 denied class certification to a group of consumers and third-party payors who paid for Neurontin prescriptions, finding that individualized issues overwhelm common questions. In re Neurontin Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1629 (D. Mass.).

U.S. District Judge Patti B. Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts noted that it would be better for the TPPs to seek reimbursement from defendants Pfizer and Warner-Lambert in individualized lawsuits.
