U.S. Marshals Seize Body-Building Supplements

The Food and Drug Administraton has alleged that certain "body-building" products distributed by LG Sciences LLC contain unapproved food additives 1,4,6-androstatriene-3,17-dione (ATD) and 3,6,17-androstenetrione (6-OXO).
On May 11, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan entered a consent decree that condemns and forfeits to the United States for destruction about $1.3 million worth of Methyl 1-D, Methyl 1-D XL and Formadrol Extreme XL.
