CHICAGO- Attorneys for GlaxoSmithKline have filed a notice of removal in federal court arguing that damages resulting from an Imitrex products liability lawsuit filed in state Circuit Court will likely exceed jurisdictional limits. The removal notice, filed May 2 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, also claims that complete diversity exists between the defendant and plaintiff Maria Leigh, who alleges she suffered a heart attack after taking the migrane suppressant.
