Settlement Reached in Alabama Rezulin Case

UNION SPRINGS, Ala. - Parties in one of the first cases alleging that ingestion of Rezulin caused heart complications have agreed to settle the case before it headed to trial in Alabama. Roughton v. Warner-Lambert Company, et al., No. CV2000-122.81, (Ala. Cir. Ct., Bullock Cty.)
According to sources, the confidential settlement was reached shortly before the trial date, which was set for April 23 in Bullock County Circuit Court.
