LINCOLN, Neb. - A heparin injury case should be remanded to state court for lack of federal diversity jurisdiction and because the claims do not arise under federal law, a Nebraska federal judge has ruled, upholding a magistrate judge's recommendation. Stone v. Baxter International Inc., No. 4:08-3201 (D. Neb.).
In a Jan. 30 order, Judge Laurie S. Camp of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska wholly agreed with the findings in the magistrate's Dec. 3 report and recommendation.
