GlaxoSmithKline Ordered to Produce Data on Pediatric Paxil Prescriptions

HAMMOND, Ind. - GlaxoSmithKline must produce information related to its promotion and sales of Paxil for pediatric and adolescent patients, according to an order entered an Indiana case brought by the familly of a 14-year-old boy who killed himself after taking the drug. Cunningham v. SmithKline Beecham, No. 07-174 (N.D. Ind.).

In a Feb. 3 decision, U.S. District Court Judge Andrew P. Rodovich of the Northern District of Indiana granted several motions by the plaintiffs to compel GlaxoSmithKline to release the information.
