LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A plan submitted by plaintiffs to resolve the federal Prempro litigation through expedited remand and trials of hundreds of pending case has drawn sharp criticism from defendant Wyeth Inc. In Re Prempro Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1507 (E.D. Ark.).
In a Jan. 12 reply brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Wyeth said the plaintiffs' suggestion that trial settings are the only way to successfully resolve the litigation is based on a false premise.
