N.Y. Judge Dismisses Office Workers' Personal Injury Claims

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. - A New York trial court judge has dismissed personal injury actions filed on behalf of employees of an insurance brokerage, saying plaintiffs failed to show evidence of causation. Feinman, et al. v. Colonial Holdings, et al., No. 1506/07 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., Nassau Cty.).

In an order filed on Nov. 3, Nassau County (N.Y.) Supreme Court Justice John M. Galasso rejected the plaintiffs' request for further discovery, saying, "the disclosure that defendants have yet to complete is not related to plaintiffs' allegations that toxic mold caused their illnesses."
