LAKE CHARLES, La. - A Louisiana appellate court has affirmed a verdict and judgment for a manufactured home builder that was sued by a purchaser who alleged mold contamination. Carr v. United Homes Inc., No. 0802 (La. Ct. App., 3rd Cir.).

Louisiana's Third Circuit Court of Appeal said in its June 18 opinion that jurors' decision to accept the defendant's view of the evidence was not clearly erroneous and, thus, could not be overturned.
