SEATTLE - Makers and resellers of the ChoiceDek® home construction material have answered consolidated class complaints by denying allegations that the wood and plastic composite is prone to mold and mildew. Pelletz, et al. v. Weyerhaeuser Co., et al., Nos. C08-00334 and C08-00403 (W.D. Wash.).
Manufacturer Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies and reseller Weyerhaeuser Co. filed separate answers to the consolidated Master Class Action Complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on June 9.
