SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A Missouri appellate court has affirmed a decision by the state's Labor and Industrial Relations Commission denying benefits for a teacher who claimed that she developed mold-induced allergies while working at an elementary school. Henley v. Fair Grove R-10 School District, No. 28565 (Mo. Ct. App., Southern Dist.).
The Court of Appeal noted in affirming a ruling for the Fair Grove R-10 School District on May 20 that the commission and an administrative law judge accepted the opinion of the school district's medical expert that Deann Henley did not suffer a compensable injury.
