Final Judgment Totals Nearly $4 Million After Ohio Trial on Defects

COLUMBUS, Ohio - An Ohio trial court has added more than $700,000 in attorneys' fees, costs and interest to a $3.2 million jury award for an Ohio couple who sued a developer for what they said was its failure to correct major defects in their home. Cosner v. Maronda Homes of Ohio Inc., No. 06 CV 008278 (Ohio Ct. Comm. Pls., Franklin Cty.).

The Franklin County Court of Common Pleas issued a final judgment on May 15, awarding Roman and Jennifer Cosner a total of $3,962.547.16 in their lawsuit against Maronda Homes of Ohio Inc.
