SEATTLE - Washington's Court of Appeals has affirmed summary judgment for tile and grout installers accused by homeowners of negligent workmanship leading to mold intrusion and serious health problems, including brain cancer. Rusing v. Skeers Construction Inc., et al., No. 59019-7-1 (Wash. Ct. App., Div. 1).
The Court of Appeals, Division 1 said that homeowners Gary and Laurene Rusing failed to produce any evidence that building professionals breached their duty of care and improperly installed a shower when the Rusing home was being built.
