HACKENSACK, N.J. - A confidential settlement has been reached in a lawsuit that alleged hazardous construction and mold-contaminated conditions in a New Jersey family's Cresskill dream home. William Miller, et al. v. James Nigro, Inc., et al. (N.J. Super. Ct., Bergen Cty.).
The case was settled in early December during discovery, according to plaintiffs' attorney Elizabeth Eilender of Jaroslawicz & Jaros in New York.
Eilender said the plaintiffs claimed that a couple of months after they moved into their newly-constructed 20,000-square-foot luxury home, they began noticing a strong musty odor. The odor was allegedly first detected in the racquetball court …
