LOS ANGELES - An appellate court has affirmed judgment and the $94,222 in attorneys' fees and costs awarded to a landlord who successfully defended against tenants' negligence claims. Rowsey v. Tesh, No. B194650 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist.).
California's 2nd Appellate District on Dec. 17 affirmed judgment for John Jay Tesh after rejecting the tenants' contention that the trial court should not have applied a prior appellate ruling to limit evidence of alleged negligence by the landlord.
