NEW YORK - A New York appellate court reversed a trial court decision denying summary judgment to a cleaning company accused of causing mold contamination, saying the firm did not owe any duty to the homeowners separate from a contractual one to remove standing water. State Farm Fire & Casualty Co., v. Whistle Clean by Warren Services, Inc., No. 20007-04545 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., App. Div., 2nd Dept.).
