SAN DIEGO - A California appellate court has ruled that the owners of an apartment complex sued by 45 tenants over alleged mold injuries can pursue a malicious prosecution action against one of those one former plaintiffs and the two law firms who represented her. Sycamore Ridge Apartments v. Naumann, et al., No. D047796 (Calif. Ct. App., 4th Dist.).
In a published opinion issued on Dec. 17, California's 4th District Court of Appeal affirmed a lower court ruling allowing the lawsuit to proceed against the tenant's original law firm, and reinstated Sycamore Ridge Apartments' claims against a second law firm, …
