LOS ANGELES - A California appellate court has affirmed dismissal of a complaint by an unsuccessful bar applicant who alleged that her lack of success was due in part to her susceptibility to mold in the testing room. Morrowatti v. State Bar of California, et al., No. B196392 (Calif. Ct. App., 2nd Dist.).
In an unpublished Dec. 27 opinion, California's 2nd Appellate District agreed with the Los Angeles Superior Court that Nasrin Morrowatti's sole remedy is to petition the California Supreme Court, which has exclusive jurisdiction over anything related to the admission of attorneys.
